Nina Timofeevna is a native of Sviyazhsk. She is 80. She gets up at 5 am to do all the household chores before the sun goes down. Sometimes she visits her 96-year-old class teacher Lidia Petrovna and reads the newspaper to her. Every Sunday she attends services at the church of Helena and Konstantin. Suddenly Dasha appears in her life. She is 20. They have known each other for exactly three days. In this short period of time, a family connection is established between barely familiar women.
