In the center of the plot of the film is the life of Amarsana, a poet from Buryatia. Amarsana lives between Ulan-Ude and Moscow. His friend the poet Arkady also wants to try his luck in Moscow. The film tells about the painful process of the birth of poetry and the search for its place.
