The most valuable thing in any country is people. This is a film about residents of the same region of Udmurtia of different ages, different nationalities, religions, who are convinced that a person is needed where he was born. Their small homeland is the small village of Debesy in Udmurtia. Here they were born, raised, educated in the same educational institution. Each in his own way serves for the benefit of his native village.

The film tells about the fate of Polish and Lithuanian children evacuated in June 1941 from the territory of Western Belarus to the Urals.

The heroine of the film is the nun Euphrosinia, who at the age of 80 united completely different people around herself on the way to restore the Goritsky Assumption Monastery in Pereslavl-Zalessky.
