Music school for the blind in Kursk. The phenomenon is rare and valuable in the educational system not only in Russia, but also in other states. Created in 1945 for people who lost their sight at the front, and in it the blind participants in the war learned to play the button accordion. Over time, it was reformatted, and today children and young men with vision problems study there according to the full program of ordinary music schools. Naturally, other subjects are taught at this school, but it is music that cements this community of young people. Only music can make up for the lack of visual images in the souls, protect children from the feeling of loneliness and further fully participate in the life of society. The educational experience of this school is useful for all walks of life, as it demonstrates the possibilities of uniting around a creative idea. This circumstance, among other things, ennobles the psychological atmosphere outside the school, contributes to the process of humanization of society as a whole.
