Contemporary artists are judged by their work. At the same time, the process of creating these works remains hidden from the majority. A few days in the company of Casimir Klein, the “apologist of true art” (as he calls himself), during the preparation of his next performance, allow me to feel the essence of contemporary art. Before us is the opportunity to see how a certain creation is experienced by the creator from conception to execution, what obstacles and unexpected twists of fate (and Klein, one gets the impression, believes in fate) the creative force encounters on its way. A film about the Russian avant-garde of the 1920s and its influence on modern architecture. The authors spent three years documenting all the surviving monuments of the era of constructivism in Moscow. The picture was created in the spirit of early avant-garde films using multiple exposure, text inserts based on the principle of Rodchenko's non-objective compositions, time-lapse photography and is complemented by a soundtrack from Moscow composer Nikolai Popov.
