"The Arrow Trail" is a film about an ancient pagan ritual. Once a year, the pagans asked God Perun to protect them from need and troubles. With the conversion to Christianity, the ritual had been celebrated on the Christian holiday of the Ascension of the Lord. After the revolution, the ritual was preserved only on the border of three countries: Ukraine, Belarus and Russia. The people saved the ritual from the atheism of the Bolsheviks, from the prohibitions of the Soviet regime, and from the returning Institute of the Orthodox Church. And so the ritual was performed until 2022. Now you can see it with your own eyes only in this film.

In Russia, it was believed that in order to cause the arrival of birds and the beginning of spring, you need to perform a special ceremony. This tradition is still alive today.

China is much wider and deeper, more positive and welcoming than tourists expect from it. And numerous photos do not contain all the diversity of the country. The author decided to shoot video on her mobile phone camera, hoping to get back there and make a movie with a professional film crew.
