Among Indian elephants, German service, calendars with kittens and Stalin, there are hundreds of little things. The real story is hard to see. Life, told over a cup of tea, is like a mosaic going into the terrible history of the country. Volunteers of the Gulag History Museum go to witnesses and victims of Stalin's repressions in order to re-collect evidence of the time and understand something about themselves.
