Upon receiving a collection of old stamps, the protagonist decides to find rare specimens within it. As he delves deeper into this forgotten world, he unexpectedly discovers something far more valuable.

Through the life of Vasily, as well as the stories of his friends and colleagues, publishers, comic book writers, collectors, sellers and even a librarian, the film will cover the history of the comics industry in Russia over the past 20 years. It will also answer the question, are comics silly entertainment for children and teenagers, or is everything much more complicated?
