The film tells about the St. Petersburg businessman, scientist and philanthropist Mussa Khabalevich Ekzekov, who is a representative of the Abaza people. Abazins belong to the small peoples of Russia, they live on the territory of the Karachay-Cherkess Republic. Abaza is considered an endangered language. Mussa Ekzekov founded and finances the international association for the development of the Abaza-Abkhaz ethnos "Alashara", which is engaged in the revival of national culture and the preservation of the language. Thanks to his leadership and financial support, projects were implemented in the field of healthcare, sports, road repairs, the construction of a sports complex and a milk collection point in the village of Krasny Vostok. Mussa Ekzekov considers the preservation and revival of the people to which he belongs to his life's work.
