There are almost 270,000 tons of plastic waste in the world's oceans today. It is many times less than glass, concrete or iron. It's just that plastic is more visible than the tip of the iceberg of ocean debris, it doesn't sink. However, plastic consumption is growing much faster than other materials, which means that there will be more plastic waste tomorrow. There is a problem, and it is pointless to deny it. But at the same time, plastic is a tool that can meet the growing needs of mankind. A substitute for wood, metal and glass, thanks to which we can preserve our forests. Unbreakable, able to take any given shape, recyclable, and therefore an environmentally friendly material. So who is right? Those who think plastic is evil, or those who say it's good?
