The film talks about the role of Russian folk culture in the aesthetics of modern life.

Three protagonists, three native Petersburgers who have stepped over the age of 80. Their childhood and youth fell on the pre-war and post-war times of the then Leningrad, and people became parents, mentors and educators, surviving fragments of the pre-revolutionary intelligentsia and high nobility. What do these women have to say to us young people today? What to share? Will we be able to carry on without loss, to the next generation, what was called the great Russian culture? Perhaps, sincere and subtle communication through the screen with the outstanding protagonists of the film will inspire us in the desire to grow above ourselves? Will those moral principles and commandments that the great mentors in turn shared with our protagonists help us? Every sympathetic viewer will try to find this answer within himself after watching this film.

The film was shot for the 90th anniversary of the Leningrad region. It is about people who work in palaces and museums, preserving history and art for us and for posterity with their enthusiasm, will and warmth of hearts.
