A group of enthusiasts decide to make a film about happiness, and the first thing they do is go outside in search of happy people.

After 56 years of marriage the hero buries his wife and remains alone. Now he is trying to find a place for himself in a new devastated world and understand what is better: to be alone or together.

The film tells about a man who since childhood dreamed of being a famous actor, and, having fulfilled all the obligations and desires of his mother, left to conquer St. Petersburg. However, after all the difficulties, he understands that he will not become great. One day, fate brought him to a small theater studio, where he realized that happiness does not depend on the size of fame, but on the joy that the business itself brings.
