It is a self-enclosing structure built on the principles of pure knowledge of a certain set of facts and the ability to find a connection between these facts with the sole purpose of answering the question posed. The 36-hour marathon in Pushchino is an annual event that brings together players from all over Russia to continuously play "What? Where? When?" for a day and a half, bringing themselves to intellectual and physical exhaustion. Who are these people? Why do they do it?
