"Busani" in translation from Evenki is a place where people drown. This is the name of a lake in the remote taiga in Buryatia. It has an island and a village. Formed under Soviet rule, it was once a fishing artel, where exiles, gold miners and Orochons, the Evenki indigenous people, worked. After 90 years, out of 100 people in the village, 8 remained. Among them is a grandfather with two grandchildren. The film is based on the story of boys who, after the death of their grandfather, made their way out of the remote taiga for several days.
