The film is dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Arkhangelskoye museum-estate near Moscow, located on the banks of the Moskva River. The owners of the estate, Princes Nikolai Alekseevich Golitsyn (1751-1810) and Nikolai Borisovich Yusupov (1751-1831) created an amazingly beautiful palace and park ensemble that delights anyone who visits it.

Vertov, the founder of the Kino-Eye or Kino-Oko, a group of fighters for pure documentary cinema, had to overcome seven obstacles to make and show this amazing film.
