Through the prism of love for foreign cars from a black and white movie, a trip to the past in old cars ends with nostalgia for goodness and the search for oneself in the present.

Two friends ride around the world in an old Volga. Behind Russia, Belarus, Latvia, Poland and the sweet life, races, adventures, soulful musical motives, hundreds of like-minded people who are passionate about old cars. But one day, friends stop by to visit a very extraordinary collector of old cars. He lives as a hermit in a remote Russian village, in a modest rickety hut, and in the overgrown field near his shack, more than three hundred Soviet-era cars rust.
