Moscow. Open Art Theatre. A troupe of unusual young artists—most of them born with Down syndrome—meets every week to rehearse a new play. Rita, their director and choreographer, is a young dancer who directs these actors in her spare time, preparing them to perform a pantomime version of Cinderella. The challenge is serious: for the first time in Russia, a troupe of artists with Down syndrome will perform a one-hour show, alone on stage.

About a new generation of Russian protest. Milena, Kolya and their associates are twenty years old. They grew up during the presidency of Vladimir Putin and do not know other rulers. At a time when their parents may be afraid to protest, these young activists are ready to take risks and fight for their ideals. A year before the 2018 presidential election, the heroes of the film were inspired by the calls of Alexei Navalny and took on the task of convincing Muscovites not to vote for Putin.
