The film’s author is against the military aggression launched by his country. He leaves Russia and travels to Germany, where his friend is helping Ukrainian refugees flee to the West. Meanwhile, the director's parents, who have fled Ukraine to Moldova, are waiting for his help. His adult son, in the meantime, who has stayed in Russia, talks with him on Skype about how Russia is fighting global evil and the importance of being a patriot and supporting one’s country.

What is your home, what is your homeland? What do you do if your country is the aggressor? Young people, actors who opposed the war and were forced to leave Russia, try to find answers to these painful questions in their sketches and monologues.

The protagonist of the film, doctor Andrey Evgenievich Zhukov, an anesthesiologist-resuscitator. Now he is one of the leading specialists in such a complex and important field as resuscitation. According to Zhukov, the causes of the disease, as a rule, are hidden in psychosomatics, in early traumatic experience. And the best way to overcome such problems is creativity!

For a fee, she is ready to keep company with a person who is looking for a partner to drink and talk heart to heart. The film is based on unique material, recordings of Svetlana's conversations with her "drinking buddies" clients. In private conversations, people share their experiences, how they are experiencing quarantine, how the coronavirus epidemic has affected their lives.

The hero of the film, Mikhail Kulakov, is one of the brightest characters in Soviet unofficial art of the 1950s and 1960s. Abstractionist, tashist, participant of the first underground exhibitions, he created and lived at the limit, realizing the idea of freedom as an absolute value.

In September 2016, the St. Petersburg artist Sergei Dreiden turned 75 years old. In the theatrical and film world, he has long occupied a very special place. Sergei Dreiden is not assigned to any theater, is not included in any group. It exists on its own, suddenly appearing on one stage or another.

The Arctic Ocean Hydrographic Expedition, accomplished in the beginning of the 20th century, between 1910 and 1915, led to the last great geographical discovery in the history of the world: the discovery of the Severnaya Zemlya (back then the Emperor Nicholas II Land) and was the first to accomplish the passage from East to West by the Northern Sea Route, from Vladivostok to Arkhangelsk. In Soviet time, the story of this expedition was ignored or falsified. The film is based on unique material: journals of participants of the expedition, their memoires and photos made during the trip. All this material plunges the spectator deep inside the dramatic story, full of suspense.

Viktor Shklovsky and Roman Yakobson are legendary names, without which it is impossible to imagine the history of the 20th century. What they have done goes beyond the scope of literary science. And the ups and downs of their fate could become the basis of an adventurous romance. Their friendship arose instantly, and the quarrel continued for more than half a century. Having collected and combined these materials, the director sought to build a story "from the first person", a kind of monologue of the musician.
