An anthology of six stories dedicated to key punk rock bands from the Irkutsk region and the Republic of Buryatia, who shaped a distinctive musical style and contributed to the cultural landscape of Eastern Siberia. Each segment serves as an alternative film chronicle, capturing the history of the Siberian underground from the 1990s to the 2000s — and reflecting the lives of its protagonists in the present day.

Artemiy Ponomarev is an Orthodox priest of a small rural parish in the village of Razdolye, Irkutsk Region. For several years, he has successfully run his video blog, which has over 10,000 subscribers. Together with his wife, Tatyana, they sew colorful padded jackets that they sell in town and feature in their videos. By invitation of the Irkutsk Diocese, Artemiy moves to Irkutsk, where he becomes a cleric and engages in promoting the Prince Vladimir Church and youth activities: organizing youth liturgies, a strongmen festival, Christmas fairs, as well as producing blog and film content. Yet Artemiy’s family continues to live in the village, as does his soul.
