Priozersk is a city in the Leningrad region, where I spent time with my grandmother as a child and where I found my first friends. When we were 12-13 years old, my father filmed a collective interview with me and my comrades on a VHS camera: we talked about each other and plans for life. I said I want to be a director. After graduating from film school, I decided to make a film based on that childhood interview. However, work on it was delayed for 5 years.

Summer 2010. The entire central part of Russia is engulfed in fires. The authors, together with volunteers, go to the very epicenter of events. Volunteers, foresters, firefighters - they are not heroes in the usual sense of the word, it was just their life, their misfortune, and they tried to cope with it as best they could.
