In the center of the film is the poet, playwright, actor Yuri Yurchenko, who has dual citizenship of France and Russia. A prosperous Parisian, a successful creative person, at the call of his conscience, he arrived in the Donbass in 2014 and signed up for the militia. Having been captured, crippled, constantly on the verge of death, he survived, showed strength of mind. Exchanged later for soldiers, he continued his mission.

The starting point for the formation of the scenario was the idea that a more or less objective idea of ​​the driving forces of history can be formed only by taking into account its metaphysical aspect. The direct material for writing the script and creating the film was the book of the Russian poet and thinker Daniil Andreev "The Rose of the World".
