This documentary, “a portrait against the backdrop of an era”, is dedicated to the blessed memory of Sergei Lazaruk (1962-2015), a talented film critic, one of the leaders of the domestic film industry, who played an important role in its development. Having lived a short life full of bright events, he remained a faithful and devoted servant of cinema until the end of his days.

The least known period in the life of the greatest dancer and choreographer of the 20th century, Rudolf Nureyev, was associated with Turkey, where he wanted to have his home, his island. The film uses a unique video footage of Nureyev's travels in Turkey and interviews with his close friends.
