The film tells about the play "Stage" based on the novel by Alexander Solzhenitsyn "In the First Circle", staged in the museum-reserve "Perm-36" on the day of the 100th anniversary of the great writer. The film also contains chronicles of the stay of young capital actors, students of the Shchepkinsky Theater School, in Perm. The guys spent several days in the museum, rehearsing and immersing themselves in the history and atmosphere of the era of Stalinist repressions.
