On September 6, 1991, Leningrad was officially renamed St. Petersburg. In the same year, the Soviet Union collapsed and the modern history of Russia began. This film is a thirty-year history of the city and country, filmed with a video camera.

In August 2020, people gathered on the steps of the Belarusian State Philharmonic in Minsk to protest against electoral fraud. They held a poster “They stole our voice from us” and could only oppose the violence with Belarusian songs sung together. The Belarusian security forces drove them off the steps, but soon the choir began to unexpectedly appear at protest marches, in shopping centers and the subway, inspiring people with songs about the dignity, courage, fate and faith of Belarusians. Thus, one of the symbols of the Belarusian resistance “Free Choir” was born. During actions and concerts, the singers observed security measures and hid their faces. Hoping to intimidate the activists, the police detained the alleged conductors and band members several times. But the "guerrilla" choir continued their brave flash mobs. This greatly angered the authorities, they began a real hunt for the "Free Choir". People were fired from their jobs and put in jail for a day. Avoiding persecution, many of the participants were forced to leave Belarus. The history of the birth and activities of the "Free Choir" will be told by the family of musicians Alexander and Sasha Serdyukov, former employees of the Belarusian State Philharmonic. Seeking asylum abroad, they, along with thousands of Belarusians who have left, are asking the question, "Where is my homeland?"

The film was conceived as a story about the history of the Gogol Center theater and the case of Kirill Serebrennikov. But the circumstances were different. This is a movie about a movie that couldn't be made.

In 2018, an agreement was signed on the transfer of Ingush lands to the Chechen Republic. The Ingush protested and fought for justice. After the next rallies in 2019, the criminal prosecution of the leaders and participants of the protest began.

Krivoluchye is a district in Tula, but you can’t see a familiar city in this film, this is a reflection, partly mockumentary, about emigration. Andrei and Oksana have not seen each other for almost a year and are temporarily returning to their small town, from which both left. Geographical boundaries and the boundaries between the true and the invented are blurring while the characters are looking for the answer to the question “why leave or why stay”, if you can live like in a movie, directing this reality anywhere in the world.

Sasha from Yekaterinburg fled to Cyprus from heart troubles. A successful animated film director in the past, she is trying to find a comfortable position in a new country. Creative ambitions give way to the desire to earn money, live in comfort and "have freedom of movement." However, the Cypriot winter sun is unable to melt the cold in Sasha's heart.

A story about the sociological and social phenomenon of tracing from the most competent person, the author of the film Oleg Krasnyansky, the president of the Russian branch of the world association of tracers, those who bravely run on the walls, overcome various obstacles without any equipment and have already become the protagonists of the feature film "Yamakashi" by Ariel Zeytun. In the center of the "true story" are seven tracers and their way of life.

In 2012, in the very heart of the Yamal Peninsula, the Bovanenkovo oil and gas industrial complex started operating. Indigenous tribes of reindeer herders pass through this industrial area, because this is the only way to summer pastures, to the Kara Sea. This is the story of people whose destinies are closely connected with the lands on which they live and with the traditions of their ancestors, but their future and even the present becomes more and more fragile and unreliable with the advent of civilization.

The sculptor Oleg Nikolaevich Artemyev has been living in the Rostov nursing home for the elderly and disabled for three years now. Once in the boarding school, he continues to sculpt figures of people living next to him from plasticine. Every day, observing the fading life and suffering of the elderly around him, he creates in his works realistic images that make one empathize and arouse sympathy.

The protagonist of the film, a doctor in a district polyclinic and part-time creator of the promotional label BEZ Promo, cannot choose what to connect his future with, with medicine, or with organizing parties in Moscow clubs. Both seem to him an important mission. Both are serving people.

In the Apsheronsky district of the Krasnodar Territory, among the majestic Caucasus Mountains and impenetrable forests, small villages were lost. They are connected to the rest of the world only by a thin thread of narrow-gauge railway winding through the gorges, and this is the only way back and forth. A small old trolley railcar, nicknamed by the locals "Matrix", every day delivers food, fuel and other benefits of civilization. People who, for one reason or another, prefer loneliness and unity with nature to noisy city life make their journey on it.

People have been living in space for a long time, in a big House called planet Earth, but only six decades ago we became the real owners of this House, because we got the opportunity to go out and look at it from the outside, from the top point. We have acquired an ideal instrument and unlimited possibilities for observing and studying the Earth. How many amazing discoveries have been made since then thanks to the scientific instruments put into orbit. We learned where most of the oxygen we breathe actually comes from, how such powerful and dangerous natural phenomena as typhoons and hurricanes are formed, we looked deep underground and discovered fantastic processes there. And this is only the beginning, only the first steps in the holistic and systematic knowledge of this beautiful and mysterious cosmic object.

The protagonists of the film almost simultaneously are in two parallel spaces, city life with a cycle of rallies and demonstrations; and life in the wild Siberian nature, in huts built on the tops of sheer cliffs, outside the state, according to its own laws. The external unifying factors of this coexistence are the city of Krasnoyarsk and the Stolby nature reserve located near the city. The internal unifying line is the assumption of the filmmakers that our main daily freedom is the ability to overcome fear.

The person is dying. A person is born. Who is next to him at this moment? Almost always today it is a midwife and a nurse. The most feminine profession is often the toughest. Where do you draw strength for this work, the essence of which is to be close to a person? How to save yourself and give yourself at the same time?

Artom and Lilya husband and wife. They are the children of great scientists. Like me too. We were born in Akademgorodok (USSR), the new Atlantis, built by our parents in the 50s. We saw it, lived there. And meeting each other many years later. Being already from completely different worlds, we decided to spend a vacation together. A serious thought about a possible nuclear strike on our native city, on our homeland, made some changes in our trip. And changed our life too. It was Russia, 2014.

The film is dedicated to the memory of Marfa Semyonovna Kryukova, an exemplary author of "Soviet folklore" and a connoisseur of traditional folklore. Official image 1930-1950 is replaced by the memories of fellow villagers and relatives, and the view from the researcher's office is replaced by what the official memory of the storyteller looks like today. This is a film about a person, about time and about the fundamental subjectivity and limitations of our view of them.

The protagonist of the picture is Sergey Dyakov, a Vologda air ambulance doctor. A film about the real everyday life of doctors in the outback of Russia, about the difficulties, about the presence of responsibility in the profession of a doctor.
