60s, 70s, 80s. Our childhood, youth and youth of our parents. Some songs, some films, some idols. Kindergarten, school, pioneer camp, institute and army. Everything, like everyone else. Our life. Who does not remember the rumbling of a small movie camera, home viewings of 8 mm films. Years have passed, life has changed, and the miraculously preserved old film footage of family newsreel helps us return to the past, which is not always fun. "Private Chronicles. Monologue "" is not just a portrait of time. The hero of the film is a "typical representative", "average type", a person born on April 11, 1961, with whom we live the first steps, the first school years, the first love, the first sexual experience, the first betrayals and the first insights, until 1986, when what some call the beginning, others the end began in the USSR.

For several months, the director has been talking to people who find their food in the garbage. Having won their trust, he tries to understand their philosophy, the organization of the garbage dump society, the motivation for leading such a life. The author tries to understand the main reason for their situation and deplorable state. His interlocutors are happy to talk about their difficulties. While hidden from the eyes of other people, they talk about human destiny, politics and God.

A film about love that blooms without shame on any heaps of rubbish, and when it is, then everything else does not matter much. Yes, I don’t want to live like the protagonists of the film, boys of different ages, their wrapped mother and the old “inmate” father (however, he is the stepfather of one of the four boys). But if you look with an open mind, you understand that they live self-sufficiently and intoxicated, there is no place for cruelty and even harshness. And this life with all its grimaces suits the protagonists quite well. Because it really is life. Regardless of the speculative assessments that we are in a hurry to expose her.

In the village of Pervomaisky near Tula, a local businesswoman decided to ennoble the space near her stall. The young artist painted Christ and the Sistine Madonna for her. Everyone turned on the artist and businesswoman, from the administration and the police to participants in Orthodox Internet forums. As a result, on the feast of the Transfiguration of the Lord, the entrepreneur destroyed the images of Christ and the Virgin with her own hand. But something remains of the naive fresco. Although not on the wall.

A carnival-esque portrayal of the Finnish landscape of the soul and abode. This short film is based on the iconic YLE programme People's Radio, and its visual material uses the road movie genre of driving across summery Finland. The film paints a panorama of what Finland looks like today. Its narration progresses through humour into civic anarchy and ultimately also towards a longing for human connection.

About the 8th quartet of D. Shostakovich. This work is sometimes called the composer's epitaph. The authors of the film tried to see in it reflections of the time in which the great composer lived. However, they say that history sometimes tends to repeat itself.

In 1992, during the Georgian-Abkhazian conflict, the famous Sukhumi monkey nursery was at the epicenter of military events. The fighting took place not only on the neighboring streets of Sukhumi, but also directly on the territory of the nursery. Some of the monkeys were transported by the staff to Russia, to a branch of the institute in Adler. Unfortunately, it was not possible to save all primates. Hundreds of monkeys died, unable to endure the cold, hunger, stress. The history of the monkey nursery from Sukhumi is not only another drama of the collision of the world of people and the world of nature. This is a fairly accurate reflection of what happens to the human community itself in the so-called "hot spots".
