This film was conceived as a continuation of Igor Grigoriev's film Holidays of the Revolution, filmed in 1972. The image of the future was the most important theme of the holidays a hundred years ago. Today, in the coming "future", we are celebrating rather the events of the past or the present. Lenin's birthday, rock festival, onion day, New Year's Day, private celebrations follow one after another. All these days merge into one "red day".

The day of discharge is coming, ahead is the return home.

What precedes the viewer's feeling that something unusual is waiting for him? Why is it enough for one conductor to appear on the stage and only their presence electrifies the air? Why is “conducting a dark business”? What could groundhog day look like? Conduction is a fascinating immersion into the atmosphere of one of the most mysterious musical professions, a film-observation of the work of one of the most unusual contemporary conductors Teodor Currentzis. Stravinsky is replaced by Mozart, then Jean-Philippe Rameau, Jiri Kilian's dance. Step by step enters the world, usually not visible from the auditorium. Frame is strung on frame, sound on sound, word for word, and suddenly you feel immersed in an amazing creative process. And at the same time, you realize that the basis of this being is work. Not hard labor, not monotonous, but beautiful, but at the limit of possibilities.

Fences are an integral part of Russian culture. They love 3-meter fences in dachas and private homes. City streets are dotted with fences, which often only interfere with normal movement around the city. They like to isolate themselves from the world with an iron curtain. The film is a visual reflection and an attempt to answer the question why life in Russia is surrounded by a fence.

Author's family history. We can say that this is a film about my grandfather. It can be said that it is about a horse and about the relationship between a man and a horse, or how the horse influenced the history of the country and the world. And everything will be true, since my grandfather Zavilgelsky Boris Dmitrievich was the director of the First Moscow Stud Farm, where the legendary stallion Kvadrat was born and the no less legendary groom Uncle Vasya worked.

The Talab Islands, situated approximately 25 kilometers from the Estonian border and equidistant from Pskov, comprise three islands. Two of these, formerly known as Talabsk and Verkhniy, were renamed Zalit and Belov during the Soviet era to honor Red Army soldiers who tragically drowned in 1918 while attempting to establish Soviet power on the islands. In the past, Zalit was home to a thriving fishing collective farm, attracting local residents who had been engaging in lake-related activities for decades. However, contemporary bureaucratic challenges have hindered fishing activities, leading to a shift in the islands' economic focus towards tourism. Pilgrims now frequent the islands to visit the grave of Nikolai Guryanov, the former rector of the local church. Despite the islands' historical significance and tourism potential, they face challenges in terms of infrastructure and services. A paramedic provides medical assistance, and there is a primary school, but children typically move to the mainland for further education after completing their initial studies on the islands.
