On April 3, 2017, there was a terrorist attack in the metro in St. Petersburg. The underground was closed. The historic city with its narrow streets is stuck in maximum traffic jams. Buses are packed to capacity, people do not fit on the sidewalks. Thousands of pedestrians found themselves in a many-hour urban trap without the opportunity to get home. But random car owners began to coordinate via the Internet and deliver desperate pedestrians home for free. And many institutions of St. Petersburg opened their doors to everyone who needed help. The heroes of the film are ordinary citizens who are ready to help their neighbor.

I invited the crowd actors to create their own film based on the character they came up with. Usually small role actors don't have a voice in big scenes. But what if you don’t speak for them, but give everyone the floor?

The film tells about the life of the Belarusian hinterland. In the village of Loktyshi, Gantsevichi district, in a two-story building of a former school, there is an unusual club-museum with a library. One of its halls is called the “AntiBachus Museum” (healthy lifestyle prevention room). This very unusual museum, where empty containers of alcoholic beverages act as exhibits, was created by a local resident Nikolai Lenkovets. Relevant events are being actively carried out here. But the film thematically goes beyond anti-alcohol propaganda, its content rises to understanding the problem of the extinction of Belarusian villages, conveyed visibly and poignantly.

The Alternative Foundation was founded by entrepreneur and human rights activist Oleg Melnikov in 2011. During the existence of the Foundation, its members have saved more than 1,500 people. Despite the objective fact of enslavement, most of the cases do not have corpus delicti, which is why many victims remain enslaved, and slave owners continue to be free.

The problem of deforestation is one of the most acute environmental problems on the planet. Its impact on the environment can hardly be overestimated. No wonder trees are called the lungs of the earth. The film is about a remote village in Armenia where deforestation is the only way to insulate houses.
