The documentary is based on one of the many versions of the events that led to the October 1917 coup in Russia. The focus of documentary filmmakers is the figure of Alexander Parvus. It was he, the organizer of the financing of the Bolsheviks led by Lenin, the German government, who was the main protagonist of these events. The version proposed in the film is convincingly confirmed by sensational documents from Western repositories and archives of the FSB, for the first time open to the Russian audience, as well as research by authoritative historians.

In the 60s of the last century, Soviet archaeologists discovered a center of Paleolithic culture in the Southern Urals. The rock paintings of the Kapova Cave have become a sensation in the world of science. There are very few places where evidence of the life and work of ancient people has been preserved. Thanks to the lighting equipment of the film crew of the popular science film, many new drawings were discovered at that time. And now, 50 years later, modern documentary filmmakers, together with the head of research, associate professor of Moscow State University, Doctor of Science Vladislav Zhitenev, are making new discoveries, and in the Bashkir State Opera and Ballet Theater, young choreographer Rinat Abushakhmanov and composer Nikolai Popov are creating a unique production, a one-act popular science ballet "On what are the stones silent about" according to real research by archaeologists.

This film is an attempt at a group portrait of those whom Brodsky would have caught if he had the opportunity to return to Russia today. Formally, the characters in the film talk about Brodsky. But in these stories there are not literary critics, but people who have experienced the strong influence of Brodsky, whom they have never seen, there are so many of them themselves that a portrait of a whole generation has come out. Generations of the children of Joseph Brodsky, who never saw their father with their own eyes.

An unflinching portrayal of families divided by war. The film features seven different pairings, whose members speak periodically with Loshak, one-to-one, to explain their points of view. Their conversations extend over the war's first three months, during which time their opinions evidence no change. The director makes no attempt at establishing dialogue – on the contrary, it is a testimony to the absence of dialogue amidst an unfolding war, and an unsentimental diagnosis of the sickness of a society in which official propaganda proves stronger than even the most intimate family ties.

Oleg Sentsov is a Ukrainian filmmaker, Euromaidan activist and native of Crimea. After the Russian annexation of Crimea, he became an active opponent of the occupation. In May 2014 he was arrested by the Russian security service, charged with planned terrorist attacks and transported to Moscow. After over a year in custody, he was sentenced to 20 years in prison, despite the fact that the testimonies were given under duress and evidence was insufficient. Sentsov never pled guilty. Director Askold Kurov follows the progress of the trial and the attempts of Oleg’s family, friends and lawyers to save him from prison. The notorious case inspired protests around the world: the European Film Academy and many renowned filmmakers such as Pedro Almodovar, Wim Wenders, Agnieszka Holland, Ken Loach, Johnny Depp and others called for Oleg’s release. Kurov’s investigation gradually reveals an absurd and frightening Kafkaesque story about how anyone can become a victim of a ruthless state machine.
