The author goes to Latin America and on a motorcycle repeats the route of the journey of a student from Buenos Aires, Ernesto Guevara, in order to collect a realistic image of a man who has already become a myth. She studies his diaries and letters, tries to understand the motives of his actions and the logic of the events that happened to him. Events that shaped the character of the hero and changed his life path, making a native of a bourgeois family, first a vagabond traveler, and later an ideological fighter for the interests of the proletariat.
