Chechnya. Grozny. A young director-graduate of the theater school named after B. Shchukin puts his graduation performance on the stage of the Lermontov Theater. The hero himself is from the "mainland", from the city of Pushkino near Moscow. Now, for three months, the unknown “island” of Chechnya will become his home. New orders, customs, traditions and foundations will stand between the young director and the embodiment of his creative idea on stage.
